Howdy! I grew up in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. I graduated from Grant Park High School in 1980 (Go Pirates ! ) and from The University of Winnipeg in 1984 with my B.Sc. (double major in Chemistry and Physics). I won 2 gold medals and other major scholarships. I then moved to Hamilton, Ontario and received my Ph.D. in Quantum Chemistry in 1989. My Ph.D. supervisor, (the late) Richard Bader, was nominated for the Chemistry Nobel Prize in 2011.   I then did postdoctoral Chemistry research.  From there, I began my high school science teaching career and have not looked back. I do teach University Chemistry via distance education and during intersession on the side. To see my publication list, click here.

In March 2012, I was named the 4th smartest person in Canada !  This came about from my appearance on a nationwide CBC-TV Special called Canada's Smartest Person

I have always been interested in parody songwriting and comedy and come from a long line of writers.

I will do songwriting, emceeing, stand-up comedy, acting, joke-writing, DJ'ing, you name it !

I hope that I can make you smile.
